Vaginal Tightening:

When the walls and muscles of the vagina become weakened, stretched and gaping from child birth, surgical tightening can be effectively done with very minimal risk and discomfort.

Procedure – outpatient. The surgery involves opening the vaginal wall to restore the anatomy of the pelvic floor muscles and connective tissue and takes approximately one hour to complete. There is no no external scarring.

Anesthesia - It is best performed under light general anesthesia but can be done under IV sedation and local (twilight).

Postoperative course - The internal incisions heal in three to four weeks. Activites such as usual work or driving can be resumed in 36-48 hours and sex in four weeks.
